22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely rich and complex, with notes of brandy and sherry-like liqueurs, toffee, dark fruits and a bit of alcohol. Flavour brings out notes of sherry, loads of dark fruits (figs especially), and a touch of toffee. Highly complex, with a big warming effect. All the notes mesh together beautifully, finishing on notes of liqueur and dark fruits. Less sweet than the 12th Anniversary, with perhaps a slightly better integration of flavours.

Aroma is really nice. Roar and chocolate with dark fruit esters. Quite a bit of vanilla and oak; the vanilla fades as it warms. The alcohol becomes more apparent as it warms. Esters are mostly fig an prune with a bit of a sherry note. Pours black with dark brown notes on the edges. Thin mocha head that quickly recedes to the edges. No lacing but some medium legs. Taste starts with milk chocolate notes with hints of roast and coffee. Mid palate the eaters hit - nice dark fruit. The finish has bourbon, oak and a good amount of vanilla as well as more roast to balance. A light hop note is present and there is medium low bitterness. A slight touch of astringency and there is a decent amount of alcohol spice in the finish but it mixes with lingering chocolate and roast notes. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium low carbonation. Astringency is low and alcohol warmth is medium. A nice creaminess to it with a bit of a sticky finish. Overall this is super enjoyable and only just now showing signs of slight oxidation. I think I will let my other bottle go another year or two for a nice vertical. My only complaint would be that it might be a bit thin, but it gets better as it warms. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Ratman’s house. Huge thanks, Ratman! Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Spicy cinnamon, burnt sugar, caramel, big chocolate, somewhat boozy, delicious aroma. Thick dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, rich caramel, toffee, a touch boozy, a bit woody flavor. Super smooth and lovely.

Bottle as shown at Camp Beer. Pours a very dark brown with medium creamy tan head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong roast smoke bourbon and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel with a rich chocolate and roast with light bitter finish. Hides alcohol well, a very good American strong ale from Firestone.

tons of bourbon, cherries, caramel, chocolate, dark fruit and tons of vanilla beans. A touch sweet, vanilla oak bourbon, caramel in the mouth but the alcohol us so well hidden. Smooth as hell. Loving it all the way.

Opaque dark brown beer. Tidy tan head. Perfectly balanced vanilla oak and light coffee nose. Soft smooooth palate. Vanilla oak is the strongest flavour but these Firestone Walker Anniversary beers are so well blended it doesn’t dominate by much. Beautifully integrated coffee and bourbon. Buried slightly deeper is a little chocolate. Finishes soft and a little dry. Smooth sumptuous treat!

Rating #2300! Bottle from a trade with Alen. Pours very dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, bourbon, dark fruits, vanilla, chocolate, and sherry. Similar flavors with some oxidation and hints of alcohol. Full body with minimal carbonation. Very nice. Thanks Alen.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color ale with a nice thick foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of vanilla and bourbon with some black chocolate notes and some sweet notes. Taste is a complex mix of vanilla notes with some bourbon and some black chocolates with some caramelized malt. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very well assembled mix of different beers makes for a very tasteful beer at the end of the day.
