From BA (11/11/2007): 500ml dark brown bottle, brewed to celebrate ’Rememberance Day’. Poured in a straight Bateman’s pint glass. Dark mahogany in colour, very clear and clean looking, good biege head. Looks good. The aroma was fairly weak, some hops and malts, but nothing to set your senses alight. The taste is a very dry hoppy affair, very dry compared to most English bitters. The 5.2% is in the mouthfeel, the dryness is also very prominent in the aftertaste. The beer is OK, but not great.

Bottled@Black & Brown Inn, Stockholm. Hazy amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, caramel malts, nectar as well as some slight wooden notes. Quite pleasant fruity and floral notes. Rather nice. Mild hayish and grassy notes. As it warms up it gets some quite berryish notes as well.
