A traditional best bitter, but done the Moor way with extra flavour. Magic for beer drinkers!

660ml bottle [4.5% abv]. Clear dark orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, pale off-white head. Herbal and piney hoppy aroma. Taste is initially dry, herbal and piney hoppy, becomes slightly watery, fades into a weak, dry finish. Promises more than it fulfills, concerning as well aroma compared to taste as well as the taste’s starting impression compared to its progression.

660 ml bottle @ Christianssand Brygghus. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has malt, hops and biscuit, slightly fruity. Flavor is light malty, hint of caramel, grain some fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Drinkable session ale/standard British bitter, but rather plain and one-dimensional.

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, Shrewsbury Folk Festival Sunday 25th August 2012 Pours amber with white head. Medium bitterness, fairly solid fruity bitter. Nice but quite a departure from the usual Moor big hitters that I am used too. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Hazy amber beer. No head, low carbonation. Semi dry palate. Insipid hops - trace of orange and grapefruit. Dry finish. Dull dull dull. Expect better from Moor.
