500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of flowers, some fruit and candy. The flavour is too sweet for a pale lager, notes of candy and malt sugar, hints of honey. Not "crisp" at all, and not very citrussy. A very moderate bitterness in the finish, where the sweetness is still present. Williams Brothers make many interesting beers, this is not one of them.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big fluffy white head. Pale malty and dusty (diacetyl) nose with shy fruity hoppy notes in the background. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale and slightly sugary malty base with notes of biscuits and a decent citric hops presence; slightly sticky, faint bitter finish. Unfortunately way too sweet. 19.XI.09

Bottle, Sainsbos, Upton. Expectations were pretty low for this effort, and had it put to one side to drain down alongside a curry. Lagery looks. Slightly malty aroma with some trace hop. Dryish finish. As far as a cold guzzler goes I suppose it ain’t bad. In the lagery scheme of things its probably above average and you could do a lot lot worse in the genre.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Typical lager gold in colour with a dense white head that slowly settles and light carbonation; slightly sour aroma of damp grain with a touch of Saaz hops; soft, milky and soapy in the mouth, again with some sourness and some floral hops; leaving a dry, chalky finish. Drinkable, but rather flat - needs a punch from some better hops.

Has a very nutty aroma with a bit of alcohol, a pretty unique smell. Looks pretty good with a nice head that’s solid and respectable, lighter golden colour. Taste is of wood and nuts, some bitter grains, and has a nice smooth mouthfeel. Pretty good and pretty unique, maybe a little drier finish would have been better.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden coloured with a moderate white head and slight carbonation. Lightly malty aroma, with some grassy hops and the strange mustiness mentioned below. Sweetish malt aroma, a trace of ash and a dry finish. Ok.

Bottle from Sainsburys, Kidlington, consumed 26-08-09 Pours gold with white thin head. Slightly unusual taste bit curly in the mouth and an interesting combination of flavour’s, some lagery malt’s, are the hops Saaz?. Tastes pretty good, touch dry at times but in saying that there is a steady sweetness that carries through this beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

My 500ml bottle from Sainsbury says it’s a lager and at 4.7%, Clear gold colour with rocky white head. Musty walnuts on the aroma. Not very good if truth be told, bit musty all the way through. Maybe I just got a bad bottle. Not much of a lager. Some sting on finish, but walnuts all the way through, even on the finish.
