Imperial Black IPA. Deep within the dark malty complexity live the hops. Palate cleansing up front intensity chased by citrus, pine, BlackBerry and spice. Porter by appearance. IPA by attitude.

Tap at beerlovers bar. Craftnight 3 : Tempest . Pours black indeed. Some red glow underneath. Medium to small white, stable head. Much lacing. Smell is mostly roqst ( coffee notes, bit burnt , some dark chocolate ) bit grassy. Taste is sharp, burnt, roasted , bit chocolate. Hops are traceable, lack a tad in aroma, but have a grassy, and clear bitter touch. Quite well drinking, very well made. Lovely beer overall. Could meet up with my Top favorites, if a tad more aromatic hops.

330ml bottle. Deep black with a decent off white head. Aroma is chocolate and dried fruit. Flavour is complex: caramel, chocolate, fruit and bitter, citrusy hops. Excellent, and I'm disappointed I only have the one bottle

Bottle from Eebria/Direct from brewery, consumed at home Thursday 2nd November 2017 in the company of Lynn and Barry cooking Roasted Chicken with Clementine and Ouzo. Pours black or very dark brown with a large head that soon subsides. Fruity (citrussy) and with a good roastiness, it is also got a decent bitter taste throughout. Really nice. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0

Black with quick fading white head. Aroma has some dark roasted malts and sweet dried fruits. Flavour is similar but with a bit of liquorice in the finish.

Bottle @ boxbeers. Pours Black with a creamy head and lacings. Good Roast, coffee, caramel and pine and Grapefruity hops beneath. Smooth and soft. Bitter finish from both Roast and hops. Tasty stuff! Old school is the Best School.

Dark beige frothy head stayed on a jet black body. Stone fruits, citrus & pine aroma. Medium bodied. Dry, lightly carbonated. Almost Stout like tastes with bitter citrus, pine, fresh & faint malt hints.

In The Dark We Live, Perhap's, but In The Fruit We Live, certainly!
