This copper ale has a slight red haze, topped with an off white head. The aroma is rich and fruity, with a hint of blackcurrant. On the tongue, it's a perfect balance of malty bitterness with notes of orange peel and grapefruit.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a cloudy deep crimson with minimal off-white head. Mainly malts in the aroma plus traces of autumn fruits. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a sour touch and a somewhat watery texture. Flavour has malts, traditional hops and oranges. Some nutty hints later on leading to a slightly dry and bitter finish. This is reasonable. May need a rerate because I’m not sure it’s supposed to be that cloudy !

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A slightly hazy copper coloured pour with a thin translucent head; malty aroma; rather watery in the mouth with a sweet malt taste; then a light earthy bitterness with a hint of orange. A rather ordinary bitter.

The People's History Museum once housed a Manchester CAMRA festival in their Engine House exhibit, but proved to be a one-time only event. This beer is hazy and dark. It has light hoppy-sugars and is certainly session material.
