Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate/fudge notes with some rum notes and coconut with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate/fudge notes with some coconut notes with some rum notes and a semi-sweet finale. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with lightly discernible alcohol notes. Nice mix of pastry notes with balanced rum barrel notes.

375ml brown bottle with black wax top, pouring a real dark brown colour with no highlights. The head is fizzy, mocha-coloured and dissipates quickly, leaving only a small film on the glass. A nose of chocolate, coconuts and a touch of molasses from the rum. The taste has a mild flavour from both coconut additions, but not overpowering, and lingers nicely. The roasted-chocolate malts are well-blended with this, and the rum notes are subtle. Quite a smooth, slick, Imperial Stout with some nicely balanced coconuts, light rum and not overly dry in the finish.

A deep dark stout with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, alcohol warmth, light peanut notes, very nice and rich. On tap at Festival des Bières de Laval 2025.

375ml (thx, Alex G.!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: thick, sweet, a lot of pretty nice toasted coconut.
Taste: along the same lines, very sweet and thick. Coconut is not overtoasted here which is awesome.
Overall: good one.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Near black with minimal beige head. Lots of toasted coconut with feint rum backing, some dark sugars, slightly boozy, decent.
