Kocour Jantar svrchně kvašený “Ale” jantarové barvy (čti ejl), kterému plnost těla při stupňovitosti 11° a hlubokém prokvašení dodává žitný slad je dalším výtvorem amerického sládka Cullena Dweyera.

Lehká pitelnost, zajímavá hořkost a chmelení za studena z tohoto ejlu dělají komplexní pitivo jakožto vstupní bránu do báječného světa svrchně kvašených piv.

Flaske, delt med Ovesen og dr. Melberg ombord på Joffen: lett uklar dyp gylden med fint skum som varer. Ubehagelig og sur aroma og smak, her har melkesyrebakteriene slåttntil, det må være en infeksjon.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Vova. Hazy deep golden. Aroma of stale hops, slightly soapy, a bit of yeast. Flavor has sweetish malt, yeast, stale citric hops, soapy, yeast, and some sourness. Way over-carbonated. Not good.

LIVE RATING: Bottle at home on 20th October 2014 - gift from a friend. Pours hazy copper with off-white shallow foam and sinking lace. Malty aroma - caramel. Lemony citrus and sour fruits in-mouth with touch of grass and lactic yeasts. Finish is somewhat vinous - as a dry white wine - grape and a little grassiness balanced by sweet malts. Light mouthfeel and body.
