Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, some nutty and mild earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, hoppy and some slight yeasty and mild nutty notes.

14 September 2020. At Doppio Malto, Verona. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear amber with a lasting, thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of raisin, biscuit, red apple, butter, rainwater, peanut, bit funky. Taste has sweet raisin, apple & plum in a biscuity, toffee malty body, a bit nutty. Herbal hoppy finish yet malts remain dominant with biscuit, vague toast & a metallic accent. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Needs some polishing.

Draft: Poured a brownish with beige head. Aroma is malty. Taste is bubblegum and malty.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours deep amber, nose is honey, nutty, caramel, taste is sweet toffee, chewy, honey.

Hazy dark red beer, tidy off white head. Light palate, semi dry. Marmalade orange with red berry fruits, coca cola and a touch of spice - perhaps ginger. Not bitter. Semi dry finish. Hangs together but I could not drink pints of it!

Draught @ Doppio Malto Brewing Company, via Milano 9, 22036 Erba (CO), Italy.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugar, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100306]

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Dark golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, malt, caramel, hop. Flavour is fruit, malt, caramel, hop. Not my kind of beer.

Bottle, 75cl, thx to thewolf. Pours a golden body with lots of micro-micro floaties and a beige head. Sourish nose with caramel and a fruity note. The flavor is sweet and a bit sourish, lemony actually, with caramel as well. Full to medium bodym and a sourish, sweet and fruity finish. I think this must have been infected, but of course, it might be a brewer doing it in a strange way. (080301)

ambrata buona schiuma abbastanza persitenza non ampia negli aromi in bocca caramelo malto finale poco luppolo ma piuttosto bilanciata di facile beva
