This Speedway is our modern twist on a beloved treat. A favorite from our 2023 Speedway Grand Prix event, this brew boasts rich flavors of coffee and semi-sweet chocolate, complemented by the delicate sweetness of toasted coconut and roasted pecans. Oh, and did you know? German Chocolate Cake is not actually from Germany, but it gets its name from the brilliant chocolatier who invented it.

Can shared by ippopotamo36 @Luppolo Station (Rome), thanks Alberto! Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige leggera, poco persistente. Al naso note di malti tostati, ossidazione, mela verde, cioccolato, caffè. In bocca è abboccata all'attacco, con note di cioccolata e caffè, con chiusura amara caffettosa. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Non in gran forma.

Can 473ml @ Home. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee, coconut and cocoa. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, caramel, coconut and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

Can from Beerrepublic. com. Dark brown color with small beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, coconut, pecan nuts. Taste starts dark malty, chocolate, pecan nuts, moderate coffee, light toasted coconut. Nice one.

Canned 473ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, coffee and coconut in the nose. Roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee and light coconut with nutty notes. Some alcohol in the finish but overall not so sweet.

US can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's day tasting, Feb 26. Pours black, deep tan head. Big speedway coffee and roast on the nose. Flavour profile brings soft roast, layered chocolate, mild cakey elements, medium bodied.. not detecting the coconut or pecans, but lovely beer all the same.

Can shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026, morning after. Dark brown color, small head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweetish a bit, though decent roasty bitter notes as well. Didn't really get the coffee that much. Solid though.

Cloudy brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, caramel, roasted malts, cow fodder, dark chocolate, malty, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of bitter cocoa powder, sweet touch, some caramel, a bit sugary, bitter. Aftertaste: cocoa powder, earthy bitterness, malty touch, some bitter hops, dry finish. Not the best.

Can with Roman M at Drinkøteka, thx! Pitch black body, tan head. Cocoa, caramel, and heaps of coffee in the aroma. Smooth, creamy and yet dry enough taste, bitter, cocoa nutty, coffee, bit herbal, ending with a good level of bitterness. Not life-changing, refreshingly bitter, a good one.

Schenkt zwart uiteraard en een flinke bruine kraag met een klein laagje retentie. Geur van chocola, kokos, geroosterd, koffie, lichtjes rood fruit. In de mond is er kokos en chocola, iets rood fruit, licht roast. Smaak is zoetig tot zoet - maar niet mierzoet gelukkig - met wat gebrande bitterheid. Warmende alcohol. Medium tot volle body. Afdronk is toenemend gebrand bitter.
