Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque pitch black color, brown head. Aroma is malts, cinnamon, liquor. Flavor is malts, cinnamon, spices, quite bitter in the end. Hmm too much of the spices and cinnamon for me to like it.

12 oz bottle from Firestone online ( before they required a Brewmaster’s Collective membership this fall and lost at least a $1000 per year in purchases). Still great beer but I won’t buy near as much if I have to drive 2 hours to Paso Robles, so only an occasional purchase when I go to the coast)

Boxed 12 oz bottle. Pours black with a one finger tan head that settles into a ring after a minute. Aroma has notes of coconut, wood, chocolate, nuts, sweet sweet malt, licorice, cinnamon. Taste is moderately to highly sweet backed by some firm bitterness.

Odd thing about this bottle is that it's 2024 and I know I didn't buy it that year. At least several years before from Craft Beer Kings. Very difficult to deal with them now. Aromas are dark malt, molasses, roast, cinnamon. Flavors are similar to nose and slightly sweeter than bitter or carbonation. Very easy sipping beer. Good Imperial Stout.
