Bottle. (19 months past BB-date.) Golden-orange, hazy beer with a dense, off-white head. Fruity, citrusy and a bit spiced aroma, with a vague note of tea. The same goes for the flavor, which has a little bitterness as well. Fruity and bitter finish. Medium body. A quite refreshing and flavorful beer, which doesn’t have any problems with lagering it seems. (071013)

Bottled. Hazy yellowish/orangeish colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheaty, spicy, citrusy and slightly barnyardish. Flavour is spicy, wheaty, very fruity and slightly yeasty. A very wellbalanced and pleasant witbier!

This is OK. There is a huge white head on top of the cloudy yellow beer. Sweet citrus and coriander aroma. Surprisingly full flavored for something with a light aroma. Medium palate.

Exuberant fine & dense white head over pale yellow beer, very little haze. Warm, perfumed coriander (lots of it) smell, bit of toasted malts (?). Fresh sourish taste, citrussy, but unfortunately gone too quick, reverting to a very neutral to soft sweetish beer, with a background coriander flavour. Reasonably refreshing, light bodied. Looks as if it is a Pilsener, one sniff helps you out of the dream. Another wit. Pierre, what have you done?

Bottle. Spicy aroma. Unclear, pale yellow colour. Big white head. Sweet flavour, some spices and hint of citrus. High carbonation gives a swelling mouthfeel.

A hazy pale yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is wheaty and slightly acidic with notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet wheaty - very wheaty - which gives it a dry end.

(Bottle 25 cl) Comes as "Delhaize Witbier". This label contains absolutely no brewery information, but according to the "Proud to be Belgian" -site it’s from De Smedt. Which makes perfect sense since this brewery brews a lot of products for the supermarket chains "Delhaize" and "GB". Unfortunately this is a clear disappointment. Pale, hazy yellow with a pretty, huge head. But the beer has a very unpleasant tang of.... clorine! Yuck. Not recommended - but don’t stay away from other supermarket own brands - they’re often good value for money. 181096

(bottle from a Delhaize supermarket) Hazy pale yellow colour with a medium white head. Strong aroma of orange peel with yeast and a coriander note. Clean and refreshing taste. Initially orange fruity with wheat and a smooth spicy finish.
