Pours a very hazed , dark amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is thick, cantillon funk. Mild on the fruits. Taste is tart, full, oaky, funky. Harsh treefruit, medium body, medium high carbo. Medium acidity. Not bad!

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas pre Quint 2022. 2013 vintage. Pours unclear yellow with a almost no head. Moderate tartness & funk, stone fruit, hay. Medium body with low carbonation

On tap at Moeder (2013). Cloudy yellow pour with a fleeting white head. Whoa, sour and without carbonation. Tart but with some smooth mealtimes in finish. Moderate barnyard funk and horse blanket. Maybe more towards the west hay. Average body and mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Moeder Lambic Original as Nèfles 2015. Pours hazy orange with a small white fizzy head. Notes of citrus, honey, stonefruits, orange, cloudberries, light funk, high fruity acidity.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with no head. The aroma is strong stone fruit, oak, funk, citrus. Light body, nectarine flesh, apricot, light funk, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Hazy golden-ochre beer, no head. Lemon, barnyard, strange spicy streak that returns much stronger in the flavour. Sourdough bread, other grains. In the finish this strange spiciness - no doubt the medlars - has become like mannah. Very serious acidburn and -thinning, some wheatslickness, tart. Too sour for its own good, really. 0,75l from bottle at Moeder Original. Unlabeled bottled, cork says 2013. Orange cloudy colour, small white head. Smells spices, washcloth, bit of sewer, cloves, Christmas spices, plums. Nice smell. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, cloves, cinnamon, spices, bit lactic, earthy, plums, wood, some funk, peppery. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of funk, citrus and some wood. Heavy on the spices, not that much fruit left, also rather funky, quite good one, more gueuze than fruit beer, good complexity, spices are distracting 7, 4, 7, 3, 16

Flaska drucken på Moeder Lambic Orginal, 2013 vintage. Stor annorlunda lambicdoft med mycket torrt färskt hö och torr lite dammig humle. Smaken bär spår av Mispel d v s gula små plommon som gett namnet åt drycken. De ligger inte så långt frånnypon, men det finns också en lite zestig clementin/mandarinton. Syran är mjuk och rund. Underbart gott.
