(Bottle, Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 22 July 2011) Golden colour with huge off-white head.Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and grassy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with grass, lemon, grapefruit and a generous, fresh bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry and fairly bitter. Excellent beer with an impressive hop presence. And the low abv makes it very drinkable.

Cask at William IV, London, during RBESG 2011. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a big, foamy head. Light hay and toast in the nose, faint sugar. Light sweet flavor, clean bitterness, mild grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp, pretty clean finish, a bit of baked hay, light sweetness. A solid low ABV beer, plenty of character.

At the brewpub in Leyton. Hazy gold beer. Light semi dry palate, somewhat thin. Trace of soap in the pale malt but not a big distraction. Surprisingly quite bitter orange marmalade. Touch of honey. Semi dry finish. Bitter lingering aftertaste. Impressive depth of flavour for a light beer.
