An abundance of roasted malts and flaked barley create a rich, roasty stout with deeply intense, lush flavors. Layered, nuanced tones invite intrigue and reward a curious palate.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of goryshkewych. Pours black with a tint of red. Small, rough beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts and coffee. Solid body, a little low in carbonatin, hard roasted mals, vanilla and coffee. Sweet, smooth finish with only a vague malty bitterness. Lots of warming alcohol. Pleasant. 220909

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Very blac, corase head. Salty licorice aroma. Faily sweet with full body. Quite hoppy, so the salty licorice is complimented by a bit of fresh sparkling citric grapefruit. Salty coffee finish. Though sweet not as cloying as many Imperial stouts, nor is it inky - just fresh and tasty.

Bottle thanks to St. Fun. Pours with a near black body and a tan head. Aroma of tobacco, vanilla, leather, chocolate, roast, and dark fruit. Taste is light alcohol, roast and vanilla. Nice and drinkable for the style, but not an exceptional beer for the category. Creamy mouthfeel. Another good, solid imperial stout!

Tap at MBG Summer Festival. Poured black with a brown head. Aroma consisted of coffee and subtle chocolate notes. Had a nice Java flavor through out but some what one note.

Bottled. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of dark chocolat, roasted malt. Apart from the chocolat and the malt, slight alcohol in taste, but it fits the beer nicely. Quite likeable.

bottle - Pours black with a thin tan head. The aroma is dark roast malt with plenty of coffee accents. The flavor is big roast chocolate malt with some coffee flavor and a good balance provided by ample hops. The malts dominate this full bodied brew though. Very good.

Dark brown and murky. Stinging and chewy, raising with lots of alcohol. Soft malts. Big, chewy and rounded. Sweet, raisiny, pruney and thick. Fairly standard impy but nicely done.

Courtesy of gillard bringing the goods yet again. Thanks man. Pours dark brown with amber edges and mocha head. The aroma is roasty malts becoming mildly coffee to go along with some burnt malts, chocolate and a bit of booze. Yum. Chewy, viscous, wow. A bit better tasting than it smells even. I get sweet malts and caramel that roll downhill toward roasty to burnt malts, some tasty vanilla and caramel. It gets very rich and dark chocolaty. Nice stuff.
