This dry hopped extra pale ale has an undeniably pleasing aroma and clean crisp finish. A mythical legend echoes in our brewhouse- that St. Lupulin, the archetypal hop head devotes his endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and beloved resin within, lupulin.

Bottle from Tomlinsons, Inverness [140213]
Yellow orange, thin bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma of resinous hops, floral nose, zesty citrus, touch of grass hop, light caramel fairly fruity malts, lots of aroma
Taste of citrus hops, resinous hops, nice fruity hops, some floral notes in there, good sweet pale malt background that lets the hops through, no harshness, easy going for 6.5%
Palate medium carb, medium body, little oilt. Palate fairly biting hops with a nice sweet pale malt base. Finish as main flavour, good fresh bitter hop clean finish
Overall - Come across as a very refined IPA and well balanced. Nothing over the top but just well done...great beer

12 oz bottle from Voodoo Mexican Cafe Bar, Darlington. Pale yellow amber colour, thin white head leaving some lacing, and aroma is light malt with mellow piney, citrus hop. Taste is spicy, caramel malt, grapefruit, pine notes, with some residual sweetness, and through to a dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, slightly oily mouth feel, quite drinkable.

Pours a rather cloudy, pale, gold with little to no head. Floral aroma and nice, bitter, pine hop flavor. Very crisp and clean finish to the beer.

12 oz bottle purchased at Rimann in Prairie Village, Kansas. 9/4/12A printed on the label (meaning it was bottled on 5/4/2012). The pour is a hazed orange golden, with a one inch white full head. Nice head retention. The aroma is soft citrus, tropical fruit and floral hops, and with a light dank, and a bit of cracker malt. Fresh nose. The taste is a nice blend of the orange citrus, floral, pineapple hops and cracker malt. Like the nose, fresh and clean taste. The dank reappears in the lingering aftertaste, which also features some pleasant mineral, which dries it out. The palate is light bodied, natural unfiltered mouth feel, and the dry finish. Easy drinking beer, exactly what I want a summer beer to be.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of pine and grass with a earthy grain backing. Flavor has less pine but more of an earthy grass note with a slightly sweet grain backing.
