Bag in Box at home. It pours a bit hazy dirty deep gold with a few bubbles on the cap. The aroma is musty, funky, damp basement, barnyard, dusty, mouldy fruit, dirty peach, gooseberry, sponge cake oak and light vanilla. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, rather funky, barnyard, damp leaves, wood, dusty basement, bit of spice, sour, puckering, kick of acidity, grapefruit peel, grape skin, gooseberry and white currant. Medium body, no carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Plenty of depth to it for the style. The more I drink the more I get into it.

At Nuetnigenough. Think it came out of a box. Dark orange. Moderate haze. No head. Nose has apple pie. Apple core. Sweet grain. Taste is sweet and apple like, with a light dryness. Light to medium body. A little dull on the palate. Low carbonation. Any tartness comes at the end, but doesn’t disguise the fact that this feels a little underdone.

(On handpump @ 1420, Copenhagen, Oct 27/18) Pours hazy orange with a small loose white head. Notes of tart baking apples, some softly sweet malt with a grainy, wort-ish character, fairly heavy leathery oak, vanilla, moderate cellar funk, wet hay and leaves. Lightly to moderately sweet and tart up front, finishing dry, slightly tart and a bit bitter. Medium-bodied, soft handpump carbonation. Nicely balanced unblended lambic from a new producer, maybe a little too much raw wort quality but overall quite tasty.

lots of cobwebs, farmhouse, earthily, modestly tart. Tart, very cobweb with lots of farmhouse. Great depth, but totally flat. Finishesa bit quick.

Bag in box @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ramata, abbastanza torbida, schiuma virtualmente assente. Al naso note di stalla, cantina, leggero citrico, mela annurca, erba tagliata. In bocca è molto morbida, con acidità leggera, pulita, niente male. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Promettente.

Tap at Foeders. Slightly unclear golden with some bubbles around the edges. Sweet and sour grain, wet hay, oak, light grassy, parmezan cheesy funk. Moderate sweet and light sour. Medium body and no carbonation.

Flavor is light sour, malt, yeast, barnyard, leather, tart fruity. Medium body, soft carbonation, light acidic finish. Nice and refreshing. 210918
