No mere beverage could satisfy the thirst of the courageous and gallant soldiers who stood guard over the colonies of the British Empire. Their thirst could only be quenched by a full-bodied hearty Ale; an Ale balanced with rich flavorful hops. We are proud to offer our interpretation of this English style India Pale Ale for those who long for the time when once your duty was complete, the taste of a fine Ale was reward enough for a job well done.

not bad, a little malty for my taste, but hoppy enought to be an ipa, i wonder what the ibu’s are however, not enough.

Pours deep gold with copper core and thin off white head. The aroma is modestly malty with a faint sense of citrus hops in the background. The taste has an initial pulse of bitterness followed by some modest sweet malts tempering the hops. Smooth even flavor with citrus hops and a bit of grapefruit and grainy malts poking out from time to time. Good brew but comes up short on hops for the style. Pretty nice pale or amber ale.

Bottle: Poured a yellow orange with a soft white head. Aroma is grain and malts. Taste is malty. Where is the IPA at with this beer?

courtesy of retorp. Pours copper with white head. Taste aroma are unoriginal, really wonder how this is an IPA, more malts coming up front reminiscent of an amber rather than IPA. Boring IPA, unbalanced.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Earthy hop aroma, British in character. Thin body. There is very little malt or hop flavor to take this in any direction worth noting. Thin weak, watery. I brew better IPA than this regularly.

Tap at Barcade - a pretty boring beer - some grassy, piney aroma, but not much else - the flavor is more that of a highly-hopped pils than an IPA - weak malt presence - probably a good BBQ beer, but there are much better ones to spend your money on.

12 oz bottle-pours a thin white head, light amber color. Mild aroma. Drinking this beer has a bit of a thick feel, taste is hoppy with a nice alcohol bite. Mild in class is how the brewer describes their beers, and I would agree with this one. rerate-@GBof A-PA-on tap
