Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear dark brown with a medium white head. The aroma is toasty, earthy, wood, leather, dark fruits, malt loaf and grape jam. The taste is dry, bitter, wood, earth, toasted grain, leather, peppery spice, malt loaf, ash and dirt with a rather dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Too dry and dirty for my tastes. Ok for style, but no game-changer.

1/3 pint, cask at GBBF 2013. Good looking with a deep, dark brown body and a lasting beige head. Spotty lacing down the glass. Mild roasted malts on the nose. Similar taste, mid-sweet. Dry malty ending. A bit diluted, still a good mild (London Olympia 13.08.2013)
