At BBF, transparent water like color, berry light vanila aroma, berry fruity flavor, very light carbonation, light bodied, suprisingly stromg sourness. Strange mead, not that great.

Sampled at Borefts 2016, Bodegraven. Clear transparent pour with no head. Notes of honey, vanilla, flowers, perfume. Meidum body, low carbonation and a sweet finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Violmjød on 08 Oct 2016 at 14:48 - Score: 8

At Borefts 2016. thnx for sharing,everyone ! Pours like water. Smell is intense, sweet, violets. Taste is thin, dry, sweet, violets. Weird. Bit carbo. MF & appearance like water, yet strong in taste and scent.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Léger doré, transparent. Arôme au nez fleuri rappelant bien la violette, retro un peu doux vanilla avec une pointe de douceur mielleuse moins efficace que sur un hydromel de plus haute densité. Palais est finement pétillant, léger et rafraichissant, touché de fleuri clairement de violette sans être surfait, mais paraissant d’office moins naturel. Douceur de miel restant modérée étant donné l’effet pétillant.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Clear as water, no head. Aroma is very weird, it reminds me of (Dutch) "spekjes, de snoepvariant dan dus". Tste is slightly sourish and a bit sweaty. No, don’t like it.

Tap. Slightly hazy transparent with no head. Aroma is violets, slight flowery honey. Taste is violet, a little bit of honey (but not so much), slight carbonation. Interesting.

Clear water coloured mead (so yes, colourless). Aroma: sweet, floral, violet candy indeed, some vanilla pudding. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very floral, violet candy, fruity touch, nice! Aftertaste: slightly sourish, very fruity, lemon notes, candy flavouring. You can taste the extract, which I'm not saying is artificial, but reminding me a lot of candy, so it feels artificial.
