A crisp clean beer, sparklingly gold, with a delightfully floral nose and subtle bitter taste.

Bottled@Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is wooden hops, some hints of flowery and fruity hops as well as some mild caramel and earth. Flavour is quite much the same, but the wooden bitteryness is a bit stronger.

bottle, Costcutter Newton Abbot. Clear copper colour, mid-sized head. Malty nose. Light-bodied. Some nice flavours of caramel and malt, dry hoppy touch in the finish. A refreshing summer beer.

Bottle for £1 from ASDA. Another unimpressive pasteurised effort from Batemans. Amber coloured with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with some tired hops. The flavour was also very sweet with some synthetic vanilla undertones. Poor.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with an off-white head that faded immediately; initial aroma of hay and apricots, becoming more floral; light and biscuity with some bitterness and some sweetness, but not developing much in the way of a finish.

Bottle picked up at Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, 27-07-06. Pours a copper colour exceptionally clear. This tastes crisp, fruity but a bit sweet as well, some hops and bitterness, an ok beer but you would really expect more from this brewery.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Floral hop and green apple aroma. Some pear drop. A bit empty in the mouth, malts could be more assertive. Over carbonated. Spritzy hop finish. Bit thin overall but nice hops and apple.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a small, off-white head. Malty, nutty aroma. Light-bodied with some fruit and nutty flavours. Very discreet bitterness. 200106

Bottle Malt nose, buttery, slight dusty hop. Amber, no head. Honeyish malt, slight nut, no hops detectable. Weak body, dusty exit. Quite boring.

Clear yellow color, short creamy head. Aroma is quite sour, floral i guess. Sour and bitter taste, refreshing palate, though slightly bitter.
