With a delicate grassy and earthy hop aroma, the refreshing bitterness of this beer is balanced by the subtle malt flavours which make for an extremely drinkable pint that has a dry finish and lasting after taste.

Bottle at the Crowne Plaza, Heathrow T4. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty light fruity and slightly sweet. Light body.

Bottle at Rob Wick's. A rather harmless and somewhat tasteless ale that you could definitely drink many pints off in a session.

500 ml bottle, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 3.5%. Clear copper colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of malts, toffee and a faint hint of dark berries. Light bodied as expected, but not too bad for its low ABV. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, and has the same elements as the aroma, also some nutty hints, with moderate but noticeable earthy hops in the finish. A decent ordinary bitter, but certainly no IPA.

30/5/2019. 275ml bottle from the Bricklayers, Chipstead. Pours pale amber with a short lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, sweet malt, buttery toffee and fruit. Sweet to taste with light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bit of veg coming though in finish. More to it than I was expecting for its light 3.5% abv, though bit too sweet.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Royal Oak. Pours totally clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds bland malts, tea, leaves. Light sweet flavour, watery, with simple malts, weak caramel, faint leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more impressions of caramel, buttery toffee, doughy bread, minimal bitterness. Kind of like a weak malt water. Pretty rubbish.

275ml botte, thanks Pierre T. BB 03/2016.

Bottle from the brewery. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, toasty grain, brown bread, stone fruit and earth. The taste is smooth, soft, mellow, toasty grain, earth, grassy and a touch of citrus rind with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Not bad really, just not very much to it. You could chug a lot for sure.

Bottle from the Harvey’s online shop. Appearance - golden amber with a thin head. Nose - orange and bran. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied, thin in texture, decent finish. Overall - solid but unexciting.
