Navigation Tavern Beer Festival. Clear mid-brown with a small creamy head. Floral hopped with light roasted malts evident too.

Cask at the Barton Arms; hazy light copper brown pour with a frothy beige head, dark fruit aroma, taste has toasted malts, red fruits, a hint of coffee.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern, 03/01/15. Chestnut brown with moderate light beige edgeing. Nose is biscuit, toffee, light charr, cocoa powder. Taste comprises light caramel, faint spice, earthy, toffee, chocolate. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok mild.

part of my 2013 backlog and tried and the 2013 Peterborough Beer Festival. Colour is dark brown with an off white head. aroma has chocolate, and coffee, the taste has this too with more caramel.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern - London. Pours clear chestnut-brown with a frothy light khaki head. The aroma golds toasty bread, a bit of toffee, grains. Light-medium sweet flavor with nicely rounded toffee notes, suggestions pf butterscotch and creamy caramel, nice brown bread, mellow dried fruits, berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation; excellent condition. Nicely balanced with further dried berries, touches of leather, more toffee and brown bread. Well rounded with good depth for the ABV. Outstanding mild.

Chestnut with a bubbly head. Nose is caramel and a bit of butter. Light body, a bit tart, some slight dark malt notes.

From cask at Pembury Tavern. Pours cloudy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is butterish and toffee malty. Bitter, light fruity and toasted malty. Bitter and toffee malty.

Cask at The Hope. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is earth, leather, wood and a touch of chocolate. The taste is earth, leaf, leather, spice, light bitterness and some dark fruit with a dry, leathery finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. So-so.

[Gravity cask at Chippenham Beer Festival] Brown with a negligible head & a light sparkle. A bit roasty, a bit malty, a bit chewy, a bit of port, a bit of gravy. Definitely dry though. OK.
