15th Sep 2016: hand-pulled pint in The Station, Oakengates Shropshire. Golden bodied, white headed, citrus leanings over a floral ester or two. An easy drinking session ale with subtle flavours leading to a semi-dry finish.

Wooden cask gravity dispensed @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Golden-blonde with next to no head. Malty nose with a more balanced hop-malt flavour.

Typical representative of the relatively new ’golden’ style of English ales, with a bit skunky aroma (hay, sulphur), grassy and flowery hops, apple; smooth, malt sweetish taste, bit sourish, hay-like accent, mild herbal hoppiness in the finish.

GBBF. Light haze on this gold beer. No real head. Light dry palate. Mild citrus. Sulphur. Blegh!

Cask@GBBF2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some floral notes as well as some zesty and toffeeish notes. Mild wood and resin as well. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, wooden with some nice earthyness.

Cask, Cloisters, Edinburgh. Straw colour. Poopy smell. Flat with with nice woody hop character. A bit watery, not much malt. Meh.

Cask (Gravity) in hotel room Sheffield (RBESG 2009). Golden amber color, medium white head. Lemony hops aroma and taste with some nutty hints and a slight bitterness. Bland Ale :D

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, keller, moderate hoppy, grass, dry silage. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderare bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090719]
