Bottle from Biermarket. Robust malty aroma with caramel, notes of toffee and some dried fruits. Moderate to medium with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Good brown malt Märzen.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 6A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch undeclared (BB 18.10.23). AROMA: initial medium-low metallic note, followed by medium-low to low malt background with slightly sweetness and hints of bread crust. APPEARANCE: amber color and cristal clear. medium ivory head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low metallic presence, followed by a slightly sweet malt flavour, medium-low to low, with notes of bread crust. medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an average-low marzen with a distracting metallic note.

Dunkles Märzenbier. Mit 5,1 % Alkohol eher am unteren Ende für ein klassisches, deutsches Märzen. Recht malzbetont, röstige Noten, etwas Traubensaft. Ab dem Mittelteil leicht trocken. Die ersten zwei Schlucke schmeckt zunächst ganz gut und ist recht süffig. Dann fällt eine seltsam, süßliche Nuance auf (irgendwie künstlich, irgendwie bitter krautig). Insgesamt nur OK.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Brown with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, herbs, nuts. Taste is bittersweet with nice balance. Grainy at the finish. Medium bodied, slightly watery. Decent overall.

Grohe Märzen, vom Faß im Brauereiausschank in Darmstadt. - Tiefes Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase aromatisches dunkles Malz und hintergründige hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk mild dunkelmalzig und kernig karamelmalzig mit dezenter, leicht krautiger Hopfenherbe mit zitrusfruchtigen Spitzen. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leicht trocken und kräftig malzbitter mit feiner Hopfenherbe. - Angenehmes, kernig malziges Märzen mit solider Hopfung. (7.10.2019.)
