Strange beer, like a remnant from the old world. Taste like a dusty replica of special belge beers like Palm.

Bottle @ home. Clear rusty orange to rusty amber color, full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sugar, lightly some herb, lightly like tea. Not a lot to it. Low to average body and carbonation. Not very good imo.

Clear pale amber colour, small frothy white head, nice lacing. Aroma malty, roasted, grain, caramel, yeasty, bit buttery. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy. Medium body, average carbonation, bit sharp on the tongue, sweetbitter finish.

25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Delhaize. BBF 24/03/2013 (expired, awesome). Pours a semi-clear dark burned sugar amber, fading greyish head. Smell is nauseatingly sweet burned sugar water, cough medicine & herbs. Taste is bitter herbs, cough syrup, cough syrup, burned sugar that I used to get as a kid as medicine, nasty malts, metallic, bit watery,… Made by InBew, that is explains it really. Man, I really do not like this one, totally unpleasant, this is like taking medication, the old days were not better.

Bottle at home, done from memory, rating is just for my own. I will edit if I drink it again.

25 cl. bottle @ Noa’s Brasserie, Koksijde. Amber with a white head. Grainy malty nose. Typical amber ale but without the finesse of Palm. Poor copycat.

16/III/13 - 25cl bottle @ Taverne le Picotin (Chimay) - BB: 23/XI/13 (2013-243)
Clear amber beer, irregular off-white to light beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: hay, grains, bit lemony, grassy hops. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: some caramel, grains, hay, little bitter. Aftertaste: caramel, bit sweet, grains, little hoppy. Meh.
