Bottle, 7 Oaks, Leuven. Amber body, good big white head. Chalky sweetish nose. Typical Belgian ale, sweetish, lighter than average, kinda spicy. Vague on the notes on this one, doesn’t stand out of the crowd but is a cute little beer.

Ah, just like old times.... a 250ml bottle, extremely cheap, but from a good Parisian source. It pours average, a modest head and a modest light gold body; it smells of grains, fruitiness, and some hops. The taste is a murky bundle of wet grain, wet grass, rice; it has a smooth mouthfeel. It works, it’s nice, and very earthy like a bière de garde.

Bottle in La Roche, Belgium. Clear orange colour, thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel and sweet malts. Flavour is malty sweet, caramel. Like a sweeter version of Palm Speciale.

Bottle at La Porteuse d´Eau. Dark brown amber color with an off-white head. Lots of lacing. Light fruity aroma - ripe light stone fruits. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Flavor is a restful fruit - not at all sweet - sort of overripe peach without the sugar. Finishes fruity, dry with a little bitter. Apricot comes along eventualy.
