Bottled 500ml. -from Heiloo Getränke Leipzig. Dark brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, light roasty nose. Mild roasted malt, caramel, dark bread, light fruity and grainy with sweetish finish.

(bottle 0,33l Advent calendar from Beershop.cz online shop) Overall: Ok dark lager. Nice caramel and toast. Aroma: Sweet, malt, caramel, light toasty. Appearance: Clear brown color. Medium off-white head. Taste: Medium sweet, malt, caramel, toasty. Palate: Medium body. Light astringent finish.

Bottle from Leipzig. Medium Brown cookout, moderate short lived tan head. Mild nose of roasted malt notes. Flavor is dry, a bit thin, toasty/molasses but just a wee bit. A bit metallic. Alright.

Meißner Schwerter St. Afra (Schwarz), Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Schwarzbraun mit rötlichem Schimmer, klar. - In der Nase warmes röstig-dunkles Malz, dünner Kaffee, Rosinen, Karamel, milde weich-süßliche Frucht (Feige), blasse herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank und weich röstmalzig mit feiner Karamelsüße, komplementiert durch zart säuerliche Frucht. Blasse herbale Hopfung, etwas Süßholz. Milder rezent, weich. Im Abgang mild röstig und leicht vegetabil, ohne richtige Hopfenherbe. - Süffiges Schwarzbier, das für meinen Geschmack noch etwas kerniger ausfallen könnte. Im Vergleich mit dem Schwarzbier vom Kräckerbräu wirkte es eher zahm. (18.9.2021.)

A nice dunkel, strong solid flavour. Crisp and clean. Well made & above average for the style. 2018 bier advent kalendar (jan 2018 3.6) updated to 3.7 mar 2020

0,33 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Oldb. Pouring out not really black more a dark dark red brown. One finger beige head. Low coffee on the nose. Taste is really dark malty, some dark choco, dark caramell. Low carbonated. Surprisingly way better than expected.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Dark amber with a medium head. On the sweet side with roasted malt, caramel some fruit and light ash. Medium body and bitterness.
