Bottle. Ok, said it before. Just not a fan of sour type ales, but I keep trying. Nice pinkish color with a decent head. Aroma, funky sour cherries and taste was the same. It does give you a good buzz though.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2007 vintage - assemblage Dec 2008 - so approximately 13 years old). Orange/brown rusty bronze with almost no off white head (super dissipating minimal ring). Initial hit is a bit of acetone, but in the mouth it mellows, coming off as vinous, mild ripe stone fruit, fair bit of wood and mild cherry. Light sweetness, not overly tart.

Shared 0.75l bottle @ Top Hops (BA) bottle share. Really cloudy deep amber in color, lots if almost murky dark sediments in the glass and a small quickly gone off-white head. Nice refreshing acidic nose. Lots of berries with figs, leafs and dandelions. Oily gliding mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Really dandelion infused flavors, its bitter - almost pungent, sour and really refreshing. Lots and lots of flavor in this. Acidic, and wood dry vinegar finish. Top! 15.06.2013

Many thanks to Roman for sharing! Sourish-woody, red fruit, intense red-wine like maltiness. Nearly no bitterness, sourish-winey woody fresh, deep with red berries on a nice woody sour body. Nice!

Bottle at Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy brown ruby with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is oak, cherry skin, and brandy. Thin mouthfeel with cherry oak and light tartness in the finish. Very impressive.

Bottle - Red wine, raisin, nuts and oak. Muddy red brown with a thin brown head and floaters. Light malty sourness, dark fruit and the barrel. Very smooth and mellow with dark fruit finish. A Flanders type with a roundness that makes this very easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a murky dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of vinous notes, oak, vinegar, and soured dark fruits - quite complex. Flavour brings out soured fruits, light vinegar, and complex oak barrels. Very complex and oaky, quite woody and mildly vinegary. Excellent stuff. My favourite of the 05-07 vertical.

THE Sour and Saison tasting. Thanks to Paul for this Swiss Miss. Hazy red - amber beer, little tan head. Smooth palate, a little dry and crisp. Okay tart cherry with a Duchesse Du Bourgogne style vinegar note. Dry finish. Not bad at all. Drinks well below the abv.
