Unser gutes Lagerbier – eingebaute Lust auf ein weiteres. Dank seiner überlieferten Rezeptur besticht es durch einen herrlichen, goldgelben Glanz und einem besonderen Bouquet. Einer zarten Malzigkeit im Antrunk folgt eine feine Hopfenbittere. Vollmundig, unverwechselbar und dabei süffig – so muss ein echtes Lager schmecken.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg and consumed at home in the company of Mum and Keith Thursday 19th June 2025, sat out in the garden. We had the Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) again, such a fantastic meal. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, it looks good. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. Malty on the nose with a little grassy edge bit subtle. Malty in the mouth there's a little background bitterness some sweetness but then it starts to dry a little. Fine but the Krausen Hells I had before was better.

Bottle @ Landbierparadies, Nürnberg. Pours clear Pale yellow with a White head. Grassy and grainy. Medium bodied. Short dry bitter finish.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Hay, grain, light grass, lard, toast. Dry mild bitterness, malty sweetness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sweet watery finish. A bit dull Helles.

“Hersbrucker Lagerbier“, vom Faß im Gasthof Bauer, Hersbruck (sehr kalt serviert). - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase mildes, reintöniges helles Malz, Vanillezucker und blasse zitronige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk etwas dünn hellmalzig mit leichtem Süßsauer. Hopfen ist nur angedeutet, etwas Zitronenschale. Stark rezent, dünnes Mundgefühl. Im Abgang blasse, vage Hopfenherbe. - Sauberes aber zu blasses Helles. (6.9.2019.)

Bottle. Pale golden, white foam. Noble hop nose, grassy and flowery. Light grainy, citric entry, a hint chalk, good long hop subtle hop profile. Chewy medium body, sparkles. A hint fruit and minerals in the aftertaste. Quite moreish, nice.
