Hazy, deep amber with a frothy crown. Pleasant aroma is a mix of pears, apple cider and mixed grains. Taste has a very mild bitterness up front, increasingly green apple tart at the finish with chalky undertones. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Not bad.

0,5 l swing top bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Cloudy pale copper in the glass, one finger white foamy head. Not a lot on the nose, maybe some grain and caramel. Taste starts grainy, caramel in the second row. Low but present sweetness. Low dry straw bitterness. Mid carbonated. Okay but nothin´ more.

0.5 l bottle from local 'REWE', best before April 2018. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, pretty dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, honey, straw and a touch of red fruits. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, slightly grassy taste of caramel, toasted malts, straw and some nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Almost medium-bodied, very smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Highly quaffable session beer, fulfills the expectations, not too deep or interesting though.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with rocky but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with dusty and hoppy notes and touches of basement. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with bitter, hoppy notes and dusty hints. Bitterish and estery aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation. Satiating mouthfeel. Quite decent and well-balanced. Very reasonable for the style.
