Can. Pours very light yellow, with a tiny head. Not much aroma on this one, apart from some straw and cardboard. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is very lightly hoppy acidic, with some sweet grass in the back. Easily forgettable.

At Papsoe’s pre CPH Beer Fest tasting, cheers Henrik! Pale gold beer. Crisp with a little bit of malt. The barest whisper of hop. Drinkable but not clever!

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, vitamin C, and citrus fruits. The body is light. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

From Nanning Tsingtao. Pale straw. Thin head did not last. The aroma shows very vague hints of bready malts and spicy hops. Light body, but it has some sour-hop character, which is not unusual for Tsingtao brews.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, white head. Grainy nose with some fruits and wet cardboard. The flavor is more or less the same, grains, some fruits and wet cardboard, and bitterness in the finish. Thin, dry mouthfeel. The bitterness is decent in this one, else it’s completely uninteresting and not very good either. (090514)
