Can shared at the craft beer junction Bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is semi sweet. Oak, vanilla pine, dirty pine, Belgian notes, green apple. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation,

Can at CBJ tasting, thanks to Fergus. Clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sugar fest. Caramel, esters, floral candy. A little paper. Terrible. I would laugh but I am sad about how far this once mighty brewery has fallen.

Can direct from Brewdoge. It pours darkest brown to black with a dissipating beige head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, touch of plum jam, date, cherry, figgy pudding, toasty spice and a touch of coffee. The taste is firmly dry, nice kick of bitterness, toothy, charred oak, rich maltage, bitter toffee, dried fruits, raisin, dried fig, touch of cherry, date, jam, candi sugar, roasted malt, coffee grounds, cacao nibs, warming booze and plenty of spice with a toasty and warming finale. Medium - fullsome body and average, but fluffy carbonation. Rather nice overall. Nice to for BD to prove that can do something like this. Good take one Belgian Quad. Quite robust and sippable.
