Cask at the Duchess of Cambridge, London. Pours clear yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Gorgeous aroma, all pale grass, zesty citrus and straw. Decent flavor, lightly sweet, some more light grass, twangy lemon, mild pale malts. Pretty dry on the finish, some lemon rind, toasted straw and grass, moderate sweetness. Very nice easy drinker.

Cask at the Bree Louise. Clear gold pour with a slight film. Sweaty aroma with some sugar and leaves. Not a very pleasant flavor, bits of socks and sweat, some honey. Light bodied and flat. Butter and sweat to finish. Not good...I’m guessing this cask is off.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 21 Nov 2008) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange peel, dried peaches and sourish hints of malt. Fruity, malty taste with orange peel, apricot, biscuity malt and dusty hops in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Decent golden ale but the sweet fruit tends to take over.

Light gold, no head. The aroma is woody/hoppy but with some pedio. At the start of the beer fest :( Light bitterness is a refreshing peachy-berry fruity character.
