Bottle split at L6 tasting, thanks to Leighton, 22/08/19. Murky amber with a beige covering that dissipates to edgework. Nose is tarte dried fruit shreds, wood must, funk, pissy twang. Taste comprises damp hay, grains, tangy berry fruits, vinous tones, berry skins, leather. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Decent.

Bottle shared in London - sourced via trade in the US. Vintage 2016. Pours mostly clear reddish brown with essentially no head. Lovely nose, lots of rich tangy berries. Light sweet flavour, assertive acetic twang, more tart berries, salt, stewed fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Tart berries in the finish with moderate acetic burn. Good one.

MBG 12th Annual Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Murky, caramely- red-brown body, medium tight cream head. Tart, funky, earthy body, sweet and tart with a firm bite and the perfect compliment of oak. My notes are brief but this is one of the finest sour cherry beers I've sampled.

On tap at The Livery 5th anniversary party. Poured brown with a yellow hue and minimal head that dissipated completely. Aroma was full of tart cherries with a strong oak note. flavor was slightly sweet with cherries in the beginning, but quickly became tart with a oak undertone throughout the beer.
