Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, choocolate, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Can sampled at Chris and Ruth’s Pre Gbbf Shindig 2017. A dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of medium sweet dark malt, chocolate and red malt. Taste of sweet roasted malt, chocolate, some toffee, nice.

Sample from 33 cl can. Near black with a thin tanned head. Sweet roasted aroma with coffee, caramel malts, chocolate, dark malts and red berries. Taste is bitter roasted. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes roasted dry and bitter with dark malts. Nice, straightforward Stout.

Can@Jespers - Black pour with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with some prominent notes of chocolate, some caramel and toffee, charred burnt malty accents, sweet roasted malty into the close.

33 cl can. Pours pitch black with a thick and brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and dark malty. Bitter, roasted and dark malty. Roasted and liqourice. Dense malty and roasted finish.

Can at home in the garden, 26th May 17. Pours black, nice white head that dissipates. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted malt, toasted grains. Taste is bitter chocolate, dry cocoa, roasted malts, light salted liquorice. Tasty stuff and not too sweet.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours black, medium tan head. Aroma of coffee roast and chocolate. Taste is smooth, layered dark flavours with coffee, liquorice and treacle shining through at various points. Excellently balanced and not too rich. Very good stout.

On tap at The Berry Walmer. Black beer lasting tan head. Strong dark chocolate aroma. Hides abv well. a bit chocolate minty perhaps . bit cold. it’s like cold liquid dark chocolate . I mean I really like it. wakes you up and sends you to sleep at the same time. decent strong dark chocolate Porter.

Can from the Beerhive. Pours black with a thick beige head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, fudge, light roast. Taste is light sweet, more coffee and dark chocolate. Creamy texture, sweet finish.
