This pale copper amber ale is a well-balanced bitter with a citrus character in the aroma and a rich, spicy finish driven by the Cascade hop.

Out of date 500ml bottle on the train to Brum; 26th Aug 2018, cheers Mike for this. Amber pour, white head. Malty brew with a decent aroma and taste, light citrus notes late on, otherwise a semi-sweet malty brew.

500ml bottle shared on the train during the August Bank Holiday Brum Bimble '18, courtesy of Mike. Best before 11/17 but still tasting fine. Pours clear amber, frothy off-white head, caramel nose. Grainy malt character with an appealing sweetness. Age has been kind to this beer.

Cask gravity at K&ES BF 2015. Clear brown gold colour lasting white head. Sweetish citrus fruit salad. Good condition. Some hop sting. Decent enough beer. Some melon. Good.

Thanks to Adam for buying me a half pint of this one from cask at Guildford Arms. Copper-gold body, faint head, fair lacing. Malt-fruity nose. Toasted malts and herbal hoppy taste. Nice bitter roundup. Slightly thin on the swallow (Edinburgh, 14.04.2012).

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 31/3/10. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweet malt aroma, with plenty of fruit, caramel and earthy hops. Flavour was also sweet, with barley sugar, bready malts and a long, bitter finish. Very good.
