From my sake backlog. Bottle, served hot @ Niso Sushi in Sønderborg. Clear with no head. Mild herbal aroma with tea, some fruit and mild rice, some warming alcohol. Smooth and balanced flavor, herbal tea, fruits, rice and alcohol. Balanced body, nice aftertaste with fruit, yeast and alcohol. Nice, pretty straight forward, no off flavors, all in all pretty nice.

Sampled from 0.18 l bottle from 'Shochiku', bottled in June 2016. Clear like water. Sweetish, slightly spicy and a little fruity aroma of green apples, gooseberry and some alcohol. Quite sweet, slightly spicy and a bit fruity taste of green apples, soy milk, rice and alcohol, followed by a long, boozy and slightly spicy finish. Medium body, flat. Quite drinkable, but I'm not into Sake at all.

180 ml bottle.
Fruity, caramel, milk, aroma, sweetish, a bit of oxidation from the koshu. Much more aging in the flavor, sweet, caramel and sherry. Funky too. Fruity, with raisins, milky. The taste is dominated by the koshu, though not overwhelming and with a regular sake palate, though quite creamy. Funky and interesting. A good introduction to koshu without the weirdness. That little 15% really kicks the flavor in, though. Cheap and tasty.
