Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout collaboration with Voo Doo Brewing featuring Madagascar Vanilla and Brûléed Figs • 14.5% ABV • This Halloween, we’re summoning Teraphobia from its two-year slumber in Heaven Hill and Rye casks. Crafted in collaboration with Pennsylvania’s legendary Voo Doo Brewery, this Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout marks the third ‘fear’ in our collaborative series of monster stouts brewed for those daring enough to confront their darkest cravings.

Teraphobia nods to the eerie allure of figs, cherished by both monsters and mortals in ancient mythologies, and a key flavor marker throughout Voo Doo's famed stouts. After twenty-five long months in barrels, this release was meticulously steeped on Madagascar vanilla beans and house-brûléed figs, layering bourbon and oak with flame-kissed fruit, rye spices, and dark caramel. Each sip beckons you to face the monsters within—a reckoning with delicious indulgence.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, a little dry, modest fine carbonation. Slightly thin bodied dark malts, a little creamy dark chocolate. Good ripe bourbon soaked ripe fruits, rich and rewarding if nothing unusual..

Rich and sweet, rounded, some raisins, cocoa. Good roast and cocoa. Smooth, well balanced. Quite drinkable.

Bottle @MBCC 2025, Blue Session. Oily black, no head. Sweet, heavy malty and roasted aroma. Sweet roasted and boozy flavour, syrupy malty sweetness. Lasting warmth.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2025 (Blue session), pours black with a tint head. Aroma has harsh dried fruits, spicy rye, and some harsh vanilla. Flavour is harsh, with spicy rye, burnt sugars, and vanilla. This is unusually harsh and dry for a Bottle Logic. This doesn’t work.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2025, blue session. Pours black. Dark burnt sugars, gentle figs, some barrel on the nose. Flavour has roasted malt, lots of granular residual sugars, some barrels. Sludgy mouthfeel. Disappointing.
