This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration.

Sampled @ The Tenth Official Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017, Day 2. A murky orange golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of dry orange fruits, passion fruits, lactose. Taste of lactic fruits, orange fruits, mango, guave, lactose, quite intersting.

Bottle. Hazy golden with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, orange, little ripe fruit and lemon. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, lacto, medium sweet, vanilla, almost no bitterness, sugar, spices and herbs.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Hazy murky yellow to slightly orangy color, small white head. Smell and taste sweetness, freshly cut open passion fruit. Maybe a hint of sugar. Average to decent body and carbonation. Meh.

9 3 9 5 18 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Cloudy dull orange with a small off white head. Aroma of guava, mango, lactose and vanilla. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. Weird but does exactly what it’s supposed to and I love it.
