Bottle, 75cl corked. As #177, 5% ABV. It’s a dark reddish brown beer topped by a fingerthick beige head. The aroma has some licorice initially, then roasted malts take it’s place and get company by some hops. It’s full-bodied and quite dry on the palate, with flavors of roasted malts with a nice sourish touch, and a good hoppy bitterness to give balance. Roasted and hoppy bitterness in the finish. A nice beer that went well with the liverpaste. 091230
