Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Light gold and clear with a small white head on top. Bready aroma, a touch of marmalade. Mostly sweet taste at first, a bit grainy, followed by intense hoppy bitterness. Grapefruit oil notes on the finish, some lemon iced tea. Light body, good carbonation for cask. Decent if a bit dull.

On cask at Stalybridge Buffet Bar October 19, 2013 - A hazy yellow body, bit of a head, but not much. Nose is a grassy mix of odd fruits, picking out pineapple and perhaps kiwi. Taste has a metallic kick to it, not what I’d expected, but still a bit disappointing.

Cask @ Stalybridge Buffet Bar, Staylbridge rail station. Superb golden ale, not full-bodied, but full of flavour and a great fruity finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Judges, Glasgow 17/06/10. Gold with a slight white head. Hoppy, tropical fruit and pine aroma with some sweetness. Plenty of citrus fruit in the flavour, with grapefruit and orange, and also a touch of pineapple, leading to a dry finish. Good.

Cask at Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops - lending it a light flowery note too. The flavor is sweet hoppy combined with lighter notes of flowers. The body is light.

Cask at the Dragon, Worcester 03-03-07. Very pale in colour, almost straw coloured. Wonderfully fresh citric nose which led onto a really fresh, juicy, crispy beer. Grapefruit was in abundance here in this superb beer, probably my beer of the day!
