Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford. Pours deep copper with a medium head. Aroma is fruitcake malt. Not much to the taste, mostly fruitcake malt. Medium bitter finish. Boring.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Amber, moderate white head. Moderate earthy bitterness is rather ruined by the caramel behind and a rather thin body.

Cask at the Farmers Boy, St Albans on 2nd March 2010. Amber with virtually no head. Caramel malt main feature with any hop very much in the background. Smooth mouthfeel. Slight hints of fruit, mainly apple and berry, and a bittersweet aftertaste.

Cask handpull at The Pheasant, Ashford. Sweetish bitter. Fine competent and I could drink this all day without complaint. Enough hop on end to be interesting. Malt on aroma is attractive. Fine.
