2014 bottle. Pours blush into a tulip. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Apricot and plum aromas. Thick with tart apricot and plum front to back and into the dry, lactic berry finish. Pretty good for 10 years old...

750mL 2015 bottle drunk 8/13/23. Clear, golden-apricot. Small, off-white head quickly to ring. Nose is very tart, but full of rich fruit despite its 8 years in bottle. Lots of lactic, moderate acetic, low brett. Malts seem supportive with light honey, a hint of caramel and plentiful oak and vanilla. Big burst of sour lactic and acetic, but fortunately the lactic and the fruit acidity vastly outdoes any acetic character. The malts and oak make the beer, providing a a slick, soft, deep texture to soak up some of the big acidity. Palate accustoms nicely to the acid, however and by the end it's mostly malt, oak and fruit character.

Bottle 750ml @ Rasmus hytte
Pours hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tart, raspberry, oak and apricot with a long tart, raspberry, oak and apricot finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle thanks to Bursprak. Pours hazy reddish orange with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is lactic as fok, cherries, raspberris, stone fruits, light vinegary, oaky, light acetone, cascade funky. Taste is lactic, same light acetone in a way that keeps it going good - not too bad. Citrussy, vinegary, stone fruits, sweet raspberries, oaky, vanilla, sweet strawberries. Fuck damn this is good.
