Hypnopompa is our imperial stout brewed with almost 100 kilos of marshmallows and Tahitian vanilla beans (the size of cigars).
Low carbonation and boiled a bit extra for good measure, this is a beer strictly for the stout inclined.
Drink now or age for many years.
Bourbon barrel aged edition comes with a gold cap.
Cognac (Grönstedts) barrel aged edition comes with a green sticker.

Cloudy dark brown beer, creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of coffee, mocha, sweet touch, hint of vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of latte (coffee and milk), that's pretty much all I get. Where's my vanilla? I guess it's just so much coffee it just puts me off. #notacoffeeguy

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven Friday 23rd September 2016. Pours black with a tan head, some tobacco and chocolate, marvellous, soft in the mouth a little boozy, wonderful beer. Would have written more, however Loz snaffled the rest of this, just picked up a bottle from the De Molen Brewery Bottle Shop. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.1

schenkt als redelijk dikker olie/stroop zwart met minimale lacing. aroma van enorm veel koffie, chocolade, geroosterde en gebrande mouten. smaken zijn dik, enorme bak koffie, niet normaal meer, het is gewoon veel teveel.. vanille, marshmallow, bovendien is de prijs tov de kwaliteit een totale fuck-up. nee. niet mijn ding.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, shared by sjogro at Not THT, thanks! Pitch black with a light brown head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, some vanilla and a bit of licorice. A bit sweet, moderately roasty-malty taste of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice, toasted nuts, licorice, hints of dark red fruits and some vanilla, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, a bit alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, but not really the way I like it.

Shared bottle at Not THT. Black with almost no head. Deep roasted dark malts. Burnt marshmallows and coffee, light ash. Big sweet, mild roasty bitterness. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Black with beige head that leaves a thin film and some big bubbles. Big roasted notes with coffee and some cocoa, even some ash. Than some dry earthy notes, caramel, soft vanilla and light wood. Over medium sweet with big roasted coffee bitterness. Almost full bodied. Massive coffee but not that much vanilla actually.
