25/XII/16 - very very old 25cl bottle, even forgot where I got this @ my parents' place - BB: n/a, some years mentioned on the side of the bottle, to make a marking, latest year is 1995 (2016-1491)

Clear red brown beer, no head. Aroma: sweet, very oxidized, caramel, orange peel, bit sweet, honey. MF: no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: quite some chocolate, caramel, little bitter, very oxidized, port and madeira. Aftertaste: sweet, chocolate bitterness, some coffee even, dusty, oxidized, more chocolate. Has held up very well!

Bottle @ home. Clear orangy color, full sized fizzy soapy off-white head. Smell and taste malts, yeasty, a bit sweetish, lightly sugary and lightly herbs or spices. Ok body and firm carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle at DHL during Paul’s Pre-Wedding Festivities. Vintage 1991. Pours clear ruby with a small, white foam head. Looks good and seems to be in good condition. Big and sweet aroma with some dark sugars, candi, toffee, ripe berries and molasses. Nice flavor, too, and very sweet, with some toasty sugars, mild leather and cake. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky sweet finish with some lightly syrupy caramel, toasted sugars, toffee, candi and bread. Quite nice. Has held up incredibly well and taken on some very intriguing characteristics.

Bottle at the brewery. Decent enough tripel, but lacks the character of the Antiek.
