Living in Colorado, “Easy Street” is more of a state of mind than an actual place. Light in color with refreshing citrus undertones, Easy Street is an unfiltered American-style wheat beer. The yeast gives the beer a nice smooth finish, a slight fruit flavor, and it’s distinct cloudy appearance.

Bottle from D&J Liquor in St. Louis, MO. Cloudy amber gold color with a slight white head. Aromas of grain or bread, citrus and something grassy or floral. Near medium body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted grain, some citrus, and light spicy or floral hop. Pretty tasty wheat. Finishes lightly spicy and clean.Feels good in the mouth. Then it’s like I just had french fries! ?

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Happy Hour in Independence, Missouri. 102908 stamped on bottle. Pour is hazed golden with a one inch white head. Heads falls quick leaving behind decent lacing. Aroma is sweet perfumes, wildflowers and wheat. Taste is wheat with some sweet and slightly spicy candy sugar yeastiness. The floral perfume is also present in the taste. Aftertaste has some mineral to it. Palate is medium to thin, drinkable.

12 oz. bottle from a friend. Best by date is mostly illegible but ends in 09, so that seems like a good sign. Hazy orange pour with a medium white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of citrus, yeast, grass and rubber. Yeast is strong with heavy grassy and earthy notes, along with some citrus. Biscuity, metallic, and what’s that? Peanut butter?. Not unpleasant, but definitely an odd beast.

Tap @ La Comida in Cody, WY. Pours a golden blonde with a small amount of haze. Mostly grassey and wheaty notes with a light maltiness. Flavor is the same. Rather boring, but unobtrusive.

tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy yellow with a nicely lacing white head. This wheat beer is very light with the usual yeasty citrus notes, mild, sweet flavor, a touch of hops, and that’s about it. It’s alright, but that’s about it. Basic.

Bottled at Mesa Verde in the A terminal at Denver International airport. An unclear orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of wheat and citrus - and so is the flavor - I can’t find any traces of banana. The body is watery.

12 oz bottle from Cheyenne, WY; nose of grain and bananas; orange tinged gold with a small white head; flavor shows the grain and banana esters, with some light spices.

12 oz. bottle. Starts with a slight chlorine smell that I can’t shake. Nice cloudy orange color, though. Lemony weizen taste, some sourness and a light mouthfeel. Can’t say I cared that much for it.

Bottle (Courtesy of ford9719). Wheat malt aroma with hints of clove, peach and banana. Cloudy yellow-orange color with small head. Light peach, clove, coriander and wheat malt flavor. An extremely nice American wheat - approaches a Belgian wit or Hefe.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Yellow colour, hazy. White, disappearing, head. Fruity, estery nose with pineapple and banana. Fruity taste with a sweetish wheat character, notes of pineapple, citrus and banana. Spicy, sweetish finish. Fresh taste, easy to drink, quite enjoyable.
