Bottle from Russell & Newnes, Aldeburgh. Slightly deeper golden with a small head. Has a light floral character, although nothing as stated as the name of the beer might indicate, meaning it's not overly flavoursome. However, coupled with a light hoppiness it's pleasant enough.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a slightly hazy golden/amber colour with a large foamy white head. Aromas of floral, honey and doughy bread. Taste is floral and honey, more doughy bread with some citrus lemon pith on the hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, lively palate and smooth oily mouthfeel. Hoppy beer with lots of flavour for the low abv.

25/11/2020. Bottle from Norfolk Lavender. Pours clear golden with a lasting just off-white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty, floral, honey. Medium plus sweetness but a light but developing bitter edge. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Quite ok.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - cloudy be with proportionate head. Nose - dirty honey with brown bread. Taste - very dirty honey this time and with burnt bread. Palate - medium bodied and crunchy in texture. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent though no lavender was evident to me.

Handpull cask at the Star, Bishop’s Stortford. Mid-gild, almost clear, very little head or carbonation. Floral honey scent but I’m not discerning the lavender. Taste sweet, again lots of honey. Very good despite a buttery diacetyl-y note. Finish a bit acrid, which is out of step with the rest of the beer. Not bad but a bit boring and one-dimensional.

Bottle from Sainsburys Watford. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of light honey, lavender and floral hops. Flavours of peach, grass and soda water. Finishes with honeycomb, cereal and a slight metallic edge. Not bad tasting, but very light.

500ml Bottle: BBD end of July 2014, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on 11th Oct 2013. Drier than I expected from the name, no honey sweetness in the aroma or taste until it began to warm a little. It was however very nice, crisp, refreshing and easy to drink from the start. Obviously over chilled, because it grew sweeter and more honey-fied once it had sat for a while. Clear golden body, a white crown that turned into a wispy covering and collar to quickly. Hop nose and taste, fairly bitter getting sweeter late on, and as already mentioned dry in nature.
