Bottle from Wally's. Amber pour with creamy head, tons of lacing. Musty, funky grainy aroma, seems like rye? Taste brings in sweet notes with some more of the grain funk. Light sourness.

Cask @ Albion Ale House, Conwy [021215]
Golden, clear, thin white head, light lacing
Aroma of slight fruit
Taste of light sweet caramel, light fruits, soft flavour
Palate - Medium body, light sweet. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Easy for abv. Can’t say much about this as it was fairly non-deScript

Bottle. It’s a clear, amber beer topped by a small, off-white head. It’s quite oxidized on the nose, sherry hints, tending towards some high quality Polish mead, but without the honey. Toffee and some dried fruits too, and a faint hint of coffee. Bitter and oxidized flavor with some green pine cones, nuts and toffee. Medium to full body, quite dry. Lasting finish. I probably shouldn’t award a three score for this one, but I sort of like it. Think sharing a bottle with a friend would do it though. 131116

At Hucknall Beer Festival - A hazy amber body with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of nuts, fruit, and elderflower. Sweet flavour notes of malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish, where notes of fruit lingers. Not bad.
