Corked bottle, thanks to my Secret Sinterklaas. Deep dark brown color. Caramel and red fruit in the vinous aroma. Malty vinous caramelly flavor. Hint of sourness, Licorice. Very low on carbon. Interesting.

Bottle. Hazy brown-ruby color with hardly any head. Aroma is tart fruits, oak, chocolate, marzipan. Taste is chocolate, marzipan, plums, caramel, quite some oak, slightly tart finish, a bit medicinal. Low to medium carbonation. Solid!

Bottle shared. Cloudy brown with no head. Aroma of tart overripe dark fruit, big oak from the barrel, tart red fruit, caramel, light barnyard funky notes, tart red fruits and vanilla notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate sour. Medium bodied with near flat carbonation. [21-07-2016]

Bottle 750ml. corked @ The Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, TNO(U)DRBSG16 @ fonefan & Brugmasia House. [ As Haagsche Broeder Aquino ].Unclear matt medium amber color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, tart, sour, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart, sweet malt - yeast, sour, chocolate - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (Bottle date 25-02-2016) [20160820]

Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Cloudy amber brown. Vanilla and caramel up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and vanilla, marzipan and red berries. Mid bitter finish.

Sampled @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, Saturday, Day 2 75cl bottle. Pours hazy orange brown colour, no head. Aroma of dark malt, spices, caramel. Taste of sweet dark malt, spices and caramel.

Bottle@Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016 - Brown pour with off white head. Very sweet malty, some medicinal strange notes, sour weird sourness coming in, fudge, earthy notes, very strange.

Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering 2016, Ulfborg, Day 2. Murky brown color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, wood, tart, sourish. Quite a poor quadrupel I’d say.

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Murky brown, a few bubbles. Dried fruit and something like sweet bourbon. Flavour has caramel, booze and sourish, dried fruit. Not impressed.

Bottle, 10%. Hazy dark brow with small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruit, hop and dusty. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, dusty, dark fruit, sweet, alcohol, warming and a little bitter.
